Demonstration of SayMore Language Documentation Software [Tutorial]

Description:

In this video tutorial, Andrea Berez-Kroeker, Assistant Professor of Linguistics at University of Hawai'i, demonstrates how to use the SayMore software for language documentation. SayMore is a free tool that allows you to manage the workflow of your language documentation project, including tracking projects, tracking people and tracking recordings. SayMore also allows you to create transcriptions and translations directly in the software. This video supplements the SHN half-day workshop, "Preserving and Enhancing Native Language Resources in Tribal Libraries, Archives, and Museums" given by Berez-Kroeker and Gary Holton, Director of the Alaska Native Language Archive, as part of the pre-ATALM SHN Workshops, held in Washington, DC on September 10, 2015.

This resource provides information on SayMore version 3.0.237. For the most current information on SayMore, visit https://software.sil.org and https://community.software.sil.org/c/saymore for SayMore support.
