STEM Programs in Tribal Libraries

Description:

In this session, Pattie Billings, Library Director at Quapaw Tribal Library, describes how to start a STEM program at a library, determine what age group(s) to work with, and types of programs that will appeal to different age groups. This session, based on actual experience, serves as a guide to designing, planning, and implementing STEM programs and projects for elementary students that are sure to help foster a lifelong love of learning. This session was part of the ATALM annual conference held in Temecula, California, on October 8-10, 2019.
