In this session, Stevan Layne, Founding Director, International Foundation for Cultural Property Protection (IFCPP), discusses the best practices for preventing losses from fire, theft (internal and external), armed intrusion, and other potential risks at archives, libraries, and museums. The information presented includes policies and procedures provided by the Department of Homeland Security, FBI Art Crimes Team, and other agencies in the interest of assisting institutions in formulating a viable protection program.
