In this session, Rebecca Elder, Principal, Rebecca Elder Cultural Heritage Preservation, discusses how a preservation assessment serves as a tool that brings together all the recommendations for improving preservation of a collection. This presentation provides an overview to programs that may fund preservation assessments and discusses how institutions can leverage the assessment into improvements. This session was part of the ATALM annual conference held in Prior Lake, Minnesota, on October 8-11, 2018.
