Bloom: Let's Grow a Culturally Relevant Library

In this session, Colin Suggett, Lead Tester for Bloom, SIL International, discussess Bloom, a free and award-winning program that makes it easy to create simple books and translate them into multiple languages. Tribal libraries and language programs can use the Bloom program to develop culturally relevant books that encourage reading and help develop language skills. In this session, participants learned how to get started making books in Bloom, translating books into Native languages, creating audiobooks, and more. This session was part of the ATALM annual conference held in Temecula, California, on October 8-10, 2019.
