Tom Rieger of the NEDCC discusses an innovative system for recover audio from damaged wax cylinders and records called IRENE. This session provides updates on NEDCC's progress on this IMLS grant project to bring the IRENE technology to cultural institutions across the nation, and will provide some wonderful listening from days gone by as well.
