In this forum/listening session, Mary Downs, Senior Program Officer, Preservation and Access at the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and Cliff Murphy, Director, Folk and Traditional Arts at the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), discuss strategies for success, and how grants may be applied arts and language programming, cultural heritage preservation and collections management, or professional development and infrastructure. Ryan Flahive, Archivist at the Institute of American Indian Arts, shares experiences with applying for and utilizing grants. This session was part of the ATALM annual conference held in Temecula, California, on October 8-10, 2019.
