In this presentation, Dorothea Salo, Faculty Associate in the iSchool at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, provides an overview of the practice of web archiving. Some of the topics covered include: web archiving common terminology, common tools and services available to perform web archiving, using WebRecorder in an archival setting, and using WebRecorder to capture several websites. This presentation was part of the 2018 POWRR Institute, held in Warm Springs, OR on April 28-29, 2018.
