2015 ATALM Archives Summit: Collaboration between Tribal and Non-Tribal Organizations

In this panel, Elizabeth Joffrion, Director of Heritage Resources at Western Washington University Libraries and Natalia Fernandez, Multicultural Librarian at Oregon State University Libraries, argue that the Protocols for Native American Materials form the basis of many successful collaborations. They discuss their methodology and their set of best practices for initiating a collaborative project, cultivating relationships, developing policies, and sustaining project outcomes. This panel was part of the Archives Summit during the pre-conference activities for the 2015 ATALM annual conference in Washington, DC on September 9, 2015.
