2014 Post-ATALM Sustainable Heritage Network Workshop
The Sustainable Heritage Network [SHN] is dedicated to connecting people to local resources necessary for cultural heritage preservation. The SHN is a collaborative space that compliments the work of Indigenous peoples globally to manage and preserve cultural heritage and knowledge. As part of this effort and in partnership with ATALM, the SHN held a hands-on workshop from the afternoon of June 12 through the morning of June 15, 2014 at the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel and Conference Center. The workshop provided conceptual as well as hands-on training on a range of issues. Workshop participants were invited to contribute examples from their institutions and work collaboratively to solve shared problems. The workshops were recorded and made available on the SHN portal as a reference to attendees.
