Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs Resource Centre

The Union of BC Indian Chiefs (UBCIC) Resource Centre is a specialized research library and archives focusing on BC land rights research and documenting the history of the UBCIC. An extensive collection of books, periodicals, and microform is available in the library collection and the archives holds the institutional records of the UBCIC. In addition to being a source of advice and support for other First Nations information repositories, the UBCIC Resource Centre is a teaching library and archives that hosts many students in work placements and provides workshops and training sessions. By making its holdings and key research materials more accessible through digitization initiatives, the UBCIC Resource Centre has been and will continue to be a leading force in facilitating all kinds of research related to Indigenous people.
