What is the TSCP?
The Tribal Stewardship Cohort Program: Digital Heritage Management, Archiving and Mukurtu CMS Training project is a three year program targeting the unique needs of Tribal archives, libraries and museums through a cohort-based educational model emphasizing digitization and preservation of materials in culturally responsive ways. Our goal is to provide long-term educational opportunities in digital heritage management and preservation with an emphasis on flexible models and cohort-specific needs.
The Tribal Stewardship Cohort Program is aimed at providing educational opportunities for tribal archivists, librarians and museum professionals in hands-on and virtual trainings provided using a small cohort model to stress practical skills and replicable processes. Understanding the entire digital lifecycle, from physical object, to digitization, the digital management and preservation will be our goal, with a focus on providing community access to collections.
