Jennifer O'Neal, Report on the Archives Summit at the 2015 Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums Conference

In this video, Jennifer O'Neal, University Archivist at the University of Oregon, summarizes the Archives Summit that took place on September 9, 2015 as part of the pre-conference activities at the 2015 Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums conference. The main topic of the Summit was the Protocols for Native American Archival Materials. During the Summit, participants agreed to make updates to the Protocols or create a guide on the topics covered by the Protocols. O'Neal also highlights the Summit participants' wish to seek input from outside the United States to improve and expand the Protocols. The report was given on September 11, 2015 at the ATALM conference in Washington, DC.
