National Endowment for the Humanities Funding for Native American Cultural Heritage

In this presentation, National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Senior Program Officers Jesse Johnston, Mary Downs, and Julia Nguyen, and University of New Hampshire Assistant Professor Siobhan Senier, provide an overview of current NEH programs for tribal archives, libraries, and museums, including the Preservation Assistance Grants for Smaller Institutions (PAG), Sustaining Cultural Heritage Collections (SCHC), and Humanities Collections and Reference Resources (HCRR) program. Presenters also discuss NEH programs from the Division of Education, including the Humanities Initiatives at Tribal Colleges program. This session was part of the ATALM annual conference held in Washington, DC on September 9-12, 2015.
