How to Register your Community with the SHN [FAQ]
A community is an institution or group of people who have a common desire to share and control access to their digital heritage within the group. All content produced and attributed to the group will be shown on the community page. Communities also share a common cultural protocol. All communities will have a public page to let SHN users learn a little bit more about your community. Digital heritage posted to your community page may be shared either with those registered with your community only or with the public. When you register your community, you a sharing protocol will be created automatically so that you may share materials within your community. To register as a community fill out the Community Registration Form. When your community has been added to the SHN, you will receive an email with a link to the Community and a summary of your responsibilities as the administrator for the new Community.
