Beginning Digital Preservation – Part 1

Lauren Goodley, archivist for the Wittliff Collections at Texas State University, shares the first two steps in developing a digital preservation program: Identify digital materials in your collections, and Select and prioritize these for digital preservation actions. The resulting inventory will be the basis of preservation decisions, and contain initial metadata needed for the following steps.
