In this video, Tom Rieger, Conversion Support Services Manager at the Library of Congress, describes what digitization standards are and discusses his role as coordinator of the still images workgroup at the Federal Agencies Digitization Guidelines Initiative (FADGI). Rieger also explains how to measure the accuracy of your scanning device in terms of resolution and its ability to capture color accurately. This video was recorded during the 2015 Post-ATALM SHN Workshop held at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC on September 13-15, 2015.
